In 2004 we added Czar to our family. He began his conformation career at a specialty in New Jersey by winning Best Jr. Puppy in Breed. In 2006, at Silkenfest, Czar won the race meet and was Best of Winners in conformation. Those wins propelled him to the honor of being the first Silken dual champion. In September 2009 he became the second Silken to attain three ISWS titles by adding a lure coursing field championship (LCC) to his conformation and racing titles.

   Sasha joined the family in 2005. She came with expectations of great potential in the show ring. Indeed on the way to attaining her ISWS conformation title she scored two NAKC Best in Show awards and became the first Silken Windhound to be awarded a NAKC “Top Dog in Classic.” Her talents in the performance arena were a wonderful surprise. She too earned her racing title (SRC) and became the second Silken dual champion. From late-2005 until May 2007 Sasha was the only Silken Windhound to defeat Czar on the race track.
